Yeti's SB115 TURQ is Yeti's answer to downcountry. TURQ Series bikes are made with the highest quality carbon fiber and the switch infinity link enables an efficient pedaling platform. In the words of Yeti "we have chosen a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve in beginning and mid-section of travel where pedaling commonly occurs a.k.a the pedaling zone. This creates an efficient pedaling platform through your entire pedaling zone, there is an inflection point where the Switch Infinity link moves down, dropping the anti-squat drastically. Riders are typically not pedaling in this zone, so chain forces have less of an effect on the suspension performance. Decoupling of the chain forces allows the suspension to work more efficiently to absorb impacts making the feel of a Yeti distinct."
This bike in particular has Sram XX1 AXS Wireless 12 speed, Sram Level Ultimate brakes and Knight Composite Carbon wheels laced to DT Swiss 240 hubs. The rental can come with XTR Trail pedals or platform Raceface Chester pedals. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own pedals. This bike climbs forever. It has a 34T chainring in the front and 10-50T cassette in the rear so even steep pitches are a breeze.

Super easy rental process. Excellent communication with Watson. Bike was dialed. Honestly you can’t get a rental bike of this caliber for the very reasonable rate! Hopefully the Upcycle platform grows to more renters with quality bikes and variety.

Great bike and strong communication. The bike had a small mechanical while I was on the ride, and Watson took care of it no questions asked. Will definitely rent again next time I need a quality MTB in SF.

Last fall I rented a Santa Cruz Blur from Watson for a weekend in Tahoe. I was considering buying a Blur so was particularly pleased to learn I could rent such a nice bike for a reasonable price. Everything was exactly as advertised and pickup/dropoff easier than expect. I really hope to see Upcycle in more towns when I'll traveling.
