How to Get Awesome Reviews as a Host

At Upcycle we strive to provide a platform that builds trust and connects individuals. To build trust, we help renters identify experienced owners who are doing a great job hosting by giving them an Elite Host badge and label.

To earn and maintain Elite Host status you should do the following:

1. Respond quickly to reservation requests - requests from guests can be short notice so we recommend reviewing and responding to requests as quickly as possible.
2. Maintain and clean your bike - this one is obvious. A clean and well-maintained bike is what guests are looking for. If it’s a mountain bike, go the extra mile and set up the air pressure in the suspension to make your guest’s trip extra smooth. (winky face)
3. Communicate pick-up and drop-off times and locations - we see hosts and guests commonly meet up at their homes or public parks. Do what feels comfortable and convenient for you knowing that all guests on our platform are ID verified before renting.
